A creative soul from a young age and with a passion for life, my life’s journey has been anything but typical, but I’m proud of where I have come from and what I have achieved. To this day I get a real buzz from being involved in creative projects. Following in the footsteps of my musician grandfather and my legendary Hollywood actress cousin, Dame Olivia de Havilland, I started my career as a professional actress both on television and then treading the boards in theatres across the UK.
It was during my time in theatre that I discovered my passion and enthusiasm for costume making and textiles, and after several happy years working for the wonderful Sir Jackie Stewart I decided to change direction and follow my dreams. At the age of 52 I started my own business — Blues & Browns was born and continues to thrive!
